Solo Bach

On February 18 at 4pm, Classical Cape May presents the second concert of our inaugural season. Cellist Brenda Leonard and violinist Tracy Ensley present “Solo Bach.” This program includes Bach’s Cello Suite No. 4 in Eb major and the Violin Partita No. 1 in B minor. Both works are for one string instrument, were written around 1720, and both are suites, meaning a collection of stylized dances. And yet they’re very different pieces of music. Come learn why!

This hour-long concert is at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, corner of Washington & Franklin Streets in Cape May. It will be followed by a reception in the parish hall. No admission charge but donations are welcomed.
